I get a message saying that the INI file is empty. What do I do?
The link to the database has been lost. Check all network connections ie. is the network link light on. If network connections is re-established, log on to admin module and unassign the relevant till.
On restart of the POS software you will be prompted to re-attach the database and to select the relevant till name.
How does MOCCA interface with 3rd party card readers?
MOCCA is so designed that it can handle multiple card lenghts, irrespective of which make/model. Standard interface: RS232 protocols.

How does MOCCA interface with payroll systems?
MOCCA has a file export facility that allows relevant data to be stored in such a way so as to accomodate most payroll systems on the market. During the initial implementation phase we also customize the fields and the format required for your particular payroll system.
What peripherals interfaces with MOCCA?
MOCCA is designed to interface with most "off-the-shelf" peripherals and is not specific to any brand or make on the market.
Can MOCCA electronically import card holder/ account holder information?
Yes, MOCCA can import flat ASCII import files traditionally generated from access control platforms. In addition to this, jpeg images can also be imported and displayed at the POS.
Can MOCCA Data be interrogated and updated in realtime mode?
Yes, due to online database connectibity, data can be added, edited or reported on and when required.
Do I need a SQL Server to run the database?
No, MOCCA can run perfectly well on an MSDE / SQL 2005 Express database (which is free of charge). The only limitation is the size of the database.
I need to change the name of the Tills / POS stations!
Open the Admin Module and unassign the till name. Make sure the user is logged out of the relevant POS module. Rename the tillpoint and then restart the Till module. You will need to re-attach the database and also select the newly named till from the list provided.
