What is MOCCA?
The new SPOSS - for those of you that has gotten used to the old brand!
MOCCA is a fully integrated, networkable CASH / Cashless Point of Sale / Canteen Point of Sale Management System designed to simplify and enhance canteen management. MOCCA can integrate with existing access control card-based system, utilising existing employee access cards that are linked to valid employee accounts, and it offers a reliable method of payment while the resulting cashless Point of Sale environment ensures increased security.
MOCCA's previous version ' The Smart Point of Sale system (SPOSS)' has been running successfully for the past 12 years and has a proven track record in large canteen environments where up to 18 000 people use the system on a daily basis.
Our customer base includes sites as small as one Point-of-Sale - and as large as 76 Point-of-Sale systems running off one server in a single site!
This cashless Point of Sale environment eliminates the necessity of physical cash reconciliation and dramatically enhances the transaction process at the Point-of-Sale.
The system is PC based, thus the control and administration of employees and system functions is resident at a central point, namely the Administration workstation. The system can be configured to handle both cash and card transactions (debit and/or credit accounts).
SUMMARISED FEATURES
MOCCA is the ultimate in user friendly systems, allowing for both cash and cashless (card) transactions. Interfaces are available for most 3rd party access and payroll systems, thereby allowing for monthly salary deductions. Importing of existing customer files from a 3rd party access control system is also possible. The system offers full system reporting and auditing functions and supports both monthly and weekly customers, including incoming stock control and stock level reporting.
Card holders may be set up as credit and/or debit accounts, which can be disabled through the back-office, thereby allowing the control of 'lost' cards as there is no monetary value on the card, all the information is stored in a SQL database.
