An audit was recently completed in a 280 user environment using SYNC Pro as the audit tool. The benefits to the client in using SYNC Pro as an audit tool:

An audit was completed for Microsoft Certified Partner. Being a certified partner, the customer believed that they were sufficiently licensed on all Microsoft software products.

This partner implemented SYNC Pro as their preferred SAM Solution. This solution gave them a complete overview of the licenses they purchased as well as the licenses they received through the Partner Programme. Also, allowing them to accurately compare the licenses on hand to the licenses that are being used. The result of this audit proved to them that even though you are a Certified Partner, doesn't necessarily mean that you are compliant!

Audit Results:

The IT department was made aware of all the unlicensed software that was being utilised on the network and they were able to remove the software that was not needed for their day to day running of their business.

This saved this partner a 30% cost on becoming compliant.
